and for me Spring Break begins today…which feels kind of odd considering we’re supposed to have four-five inches of snow in the next few days.

Haven’t posted in a little while. Things are pretty much the same. Class is still going really well. Making good grades and all that jazz. Just got hired at AT&T Wireless as a salesman…I have to go through about three weekends of training in Louisville before I hit the floor but I’m pretty stoked about it.

Still got the cat, she’s finally quieted down and gotten used to my place. Definitely need to get her some more toys though…she thinks everything I have lying out is hers to play with. lol

I’m starting to get a little antsy though. In the mood to go somewhere. There’s only so long one can occupy oneself sitting at home. I’d really like to go visit my brother in GA but that’s not gonna happen. I’ll settle for a trip to Murray.

that’d be pretty nice about now…if the snow doesn’t keep everyone in .

Ah, okay. Note to self. Umbrella’s are a nice thing to have…I’m completely DRENCHED. It’s a good thing I got my wipers fixed when I did. LOL

So, I have a brief “break” from class I suppose. Had the essay portion of my devel psych test (it’s a take home) which I completely rocked out on (wow, it went with the homework…who knew? *rolls eyes*)

I’ve got my business and writing class left for the day…and i’m going to some Entrepreneur thing tonight for EC in my business class. I really just want to go to sleep. The coffee, while tasty, just isn’t working this morning.

I have a couple of funny stories from work but, they really don’t translate well to writing. Typical server stuff. People wanting a well-done 10oz sirloin to go, on a Friday night and wondering why it’s going to take them about 45 minutes to get? Or the cook getting a little too angry one Sunday brunch and deciding to throw a plate with a waffle on it against the wall…Oops.

There’s some whiny BS too but, I’m in a good mood right now. Catch me at the end of a shift =P

Class is class, it’s still going really well. Work is Work..Still getting to know people, some, I wouldn’t mind actually hanging out with. Some are definitely strictly work friends.

Well, not too much to blog about these past couple of days.. Work is work, school is school. Getting to know my co-workers a little bit better. Oh, and I’m acting in a play.. Back story

I got a 6-top at work the other night.. I accidentally drop one persons food. The guy is joking around and is like “For punishment I’m going to make you act in my play” I gave him this weird look and explained I’d actually have fun with that as I was in drama in high school. Next thing you know I’m at his apartment doing a cold reading…I’m John the Beloved in this Passion Play that’s playing at Brescia on Palm Sunday…Not exactly my first choice of plays but hey, it gets me back on stage and maybe it’ll lead to other stuff?

I wish I had something interesting to write about but lately things have just been school and work…and i’m pretty happy about that. It’s definitely eating almost all of my time and I’m having to focus on keeping my agenda up to date so I can stay on top of homework assignments..

Oh, and I’m FINALLY going to have to break down and buy a printer. In HS I had Mrs. Purdy’s room, At Murray I had CTLT, at UK I worked in the lab, even at OCC the first year I had the laser at Computers Plus. Alas, my freeloading of printing is at an end. I think I can swing the 30 bucks, what do you think? ;)

I still like my classes so far, I finished training last Sunday at work so I’ve been on my own this week. Things haven’t been bad there and most of my co-workers are pretty cool. Went out with a few of them to Bdubs after closing and just BSed around. Another co-worker of mine was blarring out some Pumpkins tunes from the jukebox. It’s nice to have another Pumpkin Fan to sing with. haha.

That’s really all that’s been going on. A couple of random things here and there…dropping my cell phone in the middle of a field at OCC (oh yeah. My english class is in a TRAILER you all) but luckily I managed to find it…and Fridays I don’t have any class so I get to sleep in!

Still needing a new car.. lol, having no heat in my truck absolutely sucks…

Above all– things have been nice…and i’m liking that.

I suppose it’s time for a quick blog update. I’ve been to all of my classes at least once…based on the intro I’m really looking forward to the semester. One of the professors I’ve had in another class and I remember really liking her…

Had my first day of training yesterday and got to meet most of the “typical dinner crew” so far they seem like interesting people and i’m looking forward to working with them.

and that’s about all that’s been going on =P

Good news! Things went off smoothly…I’m scheduled for classes and manage to arrange things so I go during the day and have Friday-Sunday free. This was I can work evenings and weekends and if I planned it right homework. Yeah, theres definitely not going to be any time for fun. lol

More to come later… One of the reasons I’ve been so upset is because I haven’t been active. It’s nice to be a student once more working towards a goal.

I may have my slumps and I may suffer defeats…but I’ll never quit striving towards my goals…and nothing will stand in my way.

This morning was pretty entertaining.. got off work at six and was unlocking the door to my apt when I “thought” I heard Dr. Beat. Before I shut my door I hear drums.. turns out it was Apollo practicing… I was up and bored so decided to go check it out. I caught them during preseason at the Muhlenberg classic…definitely like what Mr. Gregory has done w/ the program. I liked the show..

Wandered around the band room for a bit… interesting memories
