The first week of my program to get back in shape is completed and I feel this time I have the motivation and drive to see it all the way through. I’m not worried about my weight but I definitely want to improve physical fitness, stamina and strength…which is why I’ve been alternating between cardio workouts and weights.

Do you know what I like best about winter? It’s the purity of it all. The wind, the sky and the sun… When else are sunsets lined with green? As for the sunrise, there’s just something about looking up at a full moon (well, it was) and watching the sunrise at the same time. It’s powerful…you can feel the duality between the dark and light and for that brief moment I feel perfectly centered.

and i’m sure the endorphins from running helps just a little! 2 miles everyday minimum.it’s not a lot but well, it’s definitely a start

Day 2 of the “I’m going to start eating better” plan.. And I haven’t eaten anything unhealthy but ahh I’m craving starch like nothing else. I’ve forgotten that it takes a couple of days to a week to flush out all the nastiness that is fast food.

I’m stocked on fruits, vegetables and misc items to actually cook with and hopefully this will give me some energy because lately I’ve been absolutely drained

I really should be sleeping right now but lately I’ve had the strangest dreams… that and combined w/ the fact my insomnia is in full force tonight. Guess I’ll stop fighting it and go drive around for a bit
