A quick blog before I go driving into the middle of nowhere. Things have been going well for me in life. I’m happy and ready to get school started next semester. I’m also incredibly excited about November 5th. I get to go see the Smashing Pumpkins in 8 days!!! It will definitely be a fifth of November to always remember… for reasons I doubt Guy Fawkes would appreciate.

The end of the harvest approaches and in Ireland many would say the first day of winter is almost here. I want to go down to LBL at least once before the cold weather really hits..But, I do find myself looking forward to winter. I’m no longer in transition so it’s fitting my attitude towards the seasons should be reflected as well.

A calm has washed over me and I’m quite thankful. However, there are some things that don’t change… like me not being able to sleep! So, I might as well make the best of it…So, I’m going to go out for a country drive, listen to some music come back to my apartment, brew up some tea and relax.

I’m watching It’s a Wonderful Life on television.. reminds me of the Blue House Players performing it my sophomore year.. I was so excited. Being involved with drama was a blast. Not to mention you have to love Jimmy Stewart

“I’m shakin’ the dust of this crummy little town off my feet and I’m gonna see the world. Italy, Greece, the Parthenon, the Colosseum. Then, I’m comin’ back here to go to college and see what they know. And then I’m gonna build things. I’m gonna build airfields, I’m gonna build skyscrapers a hundred stories high, I’m gonna build bridges a mile long…”
Did anyone go to playhouse in the park last week and see it?

Back to the movie :)
