Okay, my August schedule has been released and I discovered I have a weekend off! I do believe this has been the first weekend I’ve had off since I’ve started. I’m debating on the best way to spend those two days…you better believe it’s going to be involving leaving Owensboro and doing SOMETHING!

Options so far

1.) Murray - If I happen to be either running short of money or just not wanting to spend a lot.. A little bit of time at the lake and playing catch-up with some old friends is always fun

2.) Nashville - Bars. Clubs. Nashville night live… I haven’t actually gone “out” in a big city since I’ve turned 21. This sounds kinda fun

3.) St. Louis - See Above

4.) French Lick - I kinda want to go gamble ;)

Any takers or other ideas?

All that complaining? Yeah, forget about it. I had an amazing day. The meeting went extremely well but there are still some things to get in order before I announce it.

:)

Oh, By the way…Anyone feeling creative? I’ve got some ideas I need to bounce off somebody.

Where are the people protesting actions in Burma? What’s the United States doing? “Pressuring” countries who have influence over the area to step in.

The Junta is doing everything possible to keep pictures and reporting from getting out but there has been some coverage. According to BBC News thousands of monks have been detained and are being sent to prisons. While the average news station might give brief airplay before covering the latest celebrity gossip The Economist leading article and front cover is about the issue.

Okay, the major news outlets ARE covering this but the majority of people I’ve talked to has no idea anything going on.. that’s the sad part.

I always get a kick out of when people go outside in the rain and act like they’re about ready to melt. Hold your head up high, walk out in it. Enjoy it. It’s beautiful

I’d give anything to be out on this rainy day, A hike sounds really good right about now

An underwater Asian Atlantis? Sounds kind of cool.. I wouldn’t mind exploring shipwrecks. I’ve been reading about some Ghost Towns that I wouldn’t mind visiting. It’s not quite urban exploration but it still sounds fun

haha. Speaking of UE

“One of the greatest lunar eclipses in years will begin just a few hours after midnight, and the West Coast will have one of the best seats in the global house.”

Wonder if we’ll be able to see anything from KY
