I’ve found these things to be a bit pretentious.. but, you clicked on it so here you go ;)
My name is Ed Cureton — I occasionally use “E” in my online persona simply because I’m a big fan of the musical group, Eels. The frontman being, “E” so… there you are…
I’m currently going to OCC full time and plan on transferring back to Murray once I get my associates (Hey, going to three schools in three years and changing your major each move tends to put one a little behind.. hah. I think I’m finally comfortable in my choice though.
Just got hired at AT&T Mobility as a salesman and I’m pretty excited about it. Sales can be fun for the most part…and it definitely beats my former job at O`Charley`s without a doubt. I’d say I’ll never wait tables again but I sometimes get suckered into helping out at the Royce. *Shrugs* Oh well, comes with being an ex-employee and going there for years.
I want to travel…There are some places I’d rather see then others but a lot of times it seems the journey is the most important part. I’m planning a trip overseas Summer 2009. Definitely Ireland and we’ll see what else comes up. A lot can change in a year.

Geez, I feel like I’m filling out some ad for an online dating site. “I enjoy long walks by the beach” blah blah blah. I think it’d be a LOT more interesting to get a couple of my friends to fill this out. Except, some might be a little evil but wouldn’t that be a lot more fun?
I’m a coffee addict but it doesn’t mean I’m picky…I like to hit up ritzy coffee shops when I get the chance but I also love going down to my favorite diner and sipping on a cup all night for $1.01
Everything reminds of a song and sometimes I’ll start singing at the most inopportune moments…I think I might have had a few objects thrown on me by singing in the middle of an argument ;)
Oh yeah, once last bit…my all time favorite band is The Smashing Pumpkins. I finally got to see them in concert a few months back in Nashville. Definitely one of my favorite experiences. I have an eclectic taste in movies in music…and I’m open to most new bands but the Pumpkins have always been something special.

Geek Stuff
I love computers but sometimes they annoy me to no end. hm, Social hibernation perhaps? haha, I’ve noticed I tend to be a lot geekier during the winter.
I’m hosting everything from my servers I have at my apartment…my web server is a bit slow and needs to be updated so if you notice things running too sluggishly let me know.

More geek stuff I suppose.. I’m primarily into networking and network security. I understand very little programming and to be honest, trying to learn about me bores me to no end. In setting up my network I’ve gotten to play with SNMP, DNS, IP tables and all that other fun stuff…It’s an interesting journey.
My dream job is to be a freelance security consultant…getting paid big bucks to go do PenTests of corporations network. Paid to social engineer and hack? Sounds like fun to me!
