Sometimes it can really come in handy and get me out of a bind and other times it leaves me over-analyzing and easily overwhelmed. Sometimes, the more you think about a problem the more twisted it gets. Every new scenario, every new rationalization sends you deeper into the labyrinth.
That’s part of the reason why I love to drive so much, especially curved roads.. It just completely blanks my mind…and that’s when you get the truth. It provides objectivity. Sometimes it’s the last thing you want but what you need the most.
I can’t defy my nature “This above all to thine own self be true” I’ll probably always be highly analytical…but, with patience and time I’ll get it in the end.
Some might say I’m being narcissistic but as I sit here in my chair, looking around my apartment, thinking about the things i’ve accomplished, the things i’m accomplishing and all that I’m working for… I feel proud, and happy.
