…and in a lovely surprise our class is in the computer lab learning how to use the psych database. After using lexis-nexis in UK I highly doubt I’m going to have any problems. Oh well, it’s an excuse to browse the internet for a little bit

Work is INSANE. I’m so glad our free diagnostic ad ends Feb 1st. I have a backlog of about.. 40 computers + about another 20 awaiting parts. It’s draining me. Especially when some of the sales people are making completition date promises that are absolutely impossible for me to meet. Oh well, maybe I can suggest some awesome upgrades and add to my billable like crazy ;)

I’m afraid I’m going to have to limit my coffee intake.. my stomach has been pretty tore up.. So, I’m limiting myself to a mug before work, a mug after work and water for the rest of the night. I’m fairly determined to restart my diet starting on Monday, I’ve been reading the book trying to plan out some recipes for lunch at work. It’s just a matter of going grocery shopping and make a plan.

I’m picking up a loveseat for my apartment thursday after work. I’ll finally have a place to sit besides my broken computer chair.

Small steps, small steps.. do too much and you’ll get overwhelmed or burned out. Do too little and you’ll never get anything accomplished. Like all things it’s a fine balance

EDIT: So, we’re in the lab.. we have to find two articles and summarize it. I told my professor about a theory I have regarding development and asked him if I could expand on it. He seemed really interested in what I had to say and also offered to help me find some supporting evidence behind this. hm. Maybe my career path is changing again. Or, maybe i’m just going to have fun and learn something new!

I’ve settled on a 12 page paper for my review and response and a 31 page paper for my Erikson report. Or at least the start of it. It’s really sounding more like a research project but I suppose I need to keep my skills sharp. I was just starting to get the hang of analysis up at UK. I kind of miss it.
