Here’s a summary of how things went down. Went to the Dentist’s office. got in the chair, got my iv, sounds good so far right? Then the guy gets ready to invade my mouth, I’m like whoaaa i’m still awake here.
Their response? Yeah, we’re not putting you under.
So from the second they start until i’m stitched up I felt every single thing they did, i’m literally SCREAMING in pain and they’re saying, “now now it’s just pressure.. you can’t feel it” they had to get my mom to come in out of the waiting room and hold down my legs because i was thrasing so much.
Afterwards the nurse goes to help me up out of the chair to walk and I get up and start walking just fine. She asks me if I was groggy or whoozy, I was like.. No, I could drive right now if it happened.
She said, uhm.. you’re supposed to be groggy right about now.
Although they did give me some percosets and oxycodone. I’ve only taken two pills so far. If recovery goes as well as it is now it’s going to be great.
i’m just glad it’s over
