A lot has happened over these past week. I am now a probationary member of the Gamma Delta chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. I don’t think words can express how excited/pleased I am about pledging. It’s going to be an interesting experience that’s for sure…

Classes are back in session. I can’t say I’m too excited about that as I go to my 7:30 lab only to find out that it was canceled for the week. I still have to buy my books.. blah. I’m slacking (at least I can blame it on being poor) Speaking of being broke, this no phone situation has GOT to go. I bought a phone off David Poole for 15 bucks.. no charger but hey, I’ll spring for one. I actually think I might stop by on my lunch break.. being out of the loop isn’t fun.

Experienced the first  decent snowfall in Murray. I had forgotten how much I love snow. Although, I wish it would have snowed a little more, as I was wanting to drive close to LBL and look around. Nonetheless, early this morning I saw the sunrise over the campus. The reflection was beautiful.. it was the first time in a long while I just stood still and observed the things that were going on around me. To often I’m locked with my eyes facing forwards.. in such a hurry to reach my destination that I forget to enjoy the trip.

Although I love snow I’m starting to look forward to warmer weather. In Owensboro I’d say “I’m ready for the BBQ Festival!” But that sucks and I’m bored with it so is there an event/activity to look forward to this spring in Murray?

My roommate wound up not coming back this semester so, as of now, I have a room completely to myself. It’s amazing how much less the dorms suck when you don’t have a roommate.

I’ve noticed a lot of people posting less on their journals.. then I realized I don’t post that often.

ADDENDUM: I just realized there was a WHOLE lot more that happened between the 5th and the 18th.. to summarize briefly…

• New friendships have been made
• Old friendships have been strengthened
• Can now go a lot longer without doing laundry (hah)
• Don’t suck, as bad, at poker
