…and in this moment I am happy
Written by fredward on December 30th, 2005Had dinner with an old friend tonight and it has made me more confident and ready to take on the new year. This will be the last time that I am “forced” to come back to this house. Within a few months I’ll be moved into my apartment and further distancing myself from my few remaining ties in Owensboro.
I can drive down almost any street or go to any building and be reminded by a painful memory (I’m not going to lie.. there were some really damn good times… but even most of those I wouldn’t want to repeat)
Andy said it best, the reason I don’t miss being in Owensboro is because I have found a home in Murray. From great friends, new routines, a chance at a great, well, good =P education.. It’s nice
In less serious news, I got my guitar back from Fulton tonight.. Derek promised he’d show me some stuff if I wanted. I was surprised, I still had that lighter sticker Devan wrote “Howdy” on.. She wrote that on my lighter 2 and a half years ago when she first started at the Royce. I had no idea it was still there.
