I was cleaning my room today when I decided I should clean up and reorganize my collection of “important stuff”

I started this little collection around 8th grade when I was in marching band at OHS.. and have added bits and pieces to it throughout the years

Notes from old girlfriends
Pictures from band, but primarily FBLA
Old programs (FBLA, all four years of tech fair, band trip to Florida)
Important articles from the Challenger
Ticket stubs.. an old wallet.. etc

This is probably the most important thing in my room.. If my house ever burns I’d grab this box before my computer or cd collection (surprising?)

The question is, what do you do with everything that was important to you when well, it stops being important. My entire room is full of awards, nametags, trophies, ribbons, plaques, my Apollo sweet 16 poster.. All testaments to high school

I can’t leave them in my room, I can’t take them to college (you can bet your ass I’m taking my photo albums though)

I can’t leave them in my room or they’ll get destroyed while I’m gone.. I guess the only thing to do is pack them up carefully and leave them in the attic until I’m older. After all, isn’t that what your parents house is for, storage?

EDIT: Alli, want to hear something funny. Remember that picture you colored for me? I completely forgot that was of Wendy’s.. kinda ironic i’m working there this summer isn’t it? =P
