Time for one of those real life decision time updates…

I think i’m going to go to OCC for the next two years. Now that I’ve got you’re attention let me tell you why. I have 17 documented hours at OCC with a 4.0 so I got invited to join Phi Theta Kappa (the honor society for community colleges)

Now, upon hearing that my mom offered to pay for me to go to OCC as long as I keep my grades up to stay in that thing. I told her my main reason for not staying was because I didn’t want to live at the house any longer. Upon hearing that she told me shes considered it and offered to help pay for my rent and utilities..

She’s already given me a car. I hate putting her out this much but she tells me that shes saving money.. (she would be co-signing for my loans at Murray, thus signing over the house)

To me this seems like a win-win situation. I get to live on my own, get the first two years of college paid for and as belonging to Phi Theta Kappa I would get (probably) scholarship offerings to four-year insitutions.

What do you think?

EDIT: I haven’t made a final decision.. but it does have to be made this week..

EDIT2: And if I do this it means I won’t be able to see Devan this summer.. I’m pretty sure i’m going to get on at Wendy’s on 54 as a temporary job to make $$$ so I can move it mid summer instead of mid fall..

and i REALLY want to see her..
