I was talking about the past with an old friend of mine.. I happened to be discussing one situation and attacked it from at least 15 different ways in a split second and made my decision then and there without evaluating other options and adapting to the new situation

I’m a big Tom Clancy fan right?

So I decided to look at it how Jack Ryan circa “The Hunt for Red October” would look at it. I laid out the problem and began to formulate a solution based on hard FACT that I knew (my earlier problem was I dealt too much with mind reading, emotional guessing to determine events) After basing my course of action on fact it altered dramatically and began to assume more of a moderate stance then such a hard liner.

My quick intincts have always helped me but in certain situations they tend to become more of a hinderance than a useful tool.

I took a few important events from the past few years and applied my new method into it (and I didn’t only use hard facts because facts don’t hide everything but I didn’t second guess everything either)

Anyway, that’s a lesson slow in developing for the past several months but I thought I’d finally put it to words
