Wednesday, January 21st, 2004Today had been hectic and I’ve loved every minute of it!
As soon as I got to school this morning (7:20) I already had two kids asking me to fix their computers. I told them to come by when I was on the clock at 7:45. lol Helpdesk wound up getting 10 laptops that had to have severe work done on them + 2 that had to be completely reimaged.
We’ve gotten FBLA Week planned out and are ready for Regionals! Only a month to go.. I’m psyched
Got to register early for my senior schedule today. Taking higher education at OCC which should be interesting. I’m glad I’m going to be able to get a jump on things by getting a few college hours before I graduate. Since I’m going to take college courses I decided to only take one AP class (English) Well, one serious AP class. One could hardly call AP Java a serious class
Tomorrow I doubt I’ll have a moment to just relax. It’s FPS District comp. at OCHS tomorrow, the only sad part is that there are four teams this year. OCHS and OHS are all first years while our team is equipped with Michael (a sixth year FPS’er) Me (A fifth year FPS’er) Caroline (third year) and Delana (first year) So I doubt we’ll have a problem at least making regionals.. right after that’s over I get to go to OYSO. Yep. As it turns out no tubas auditioned for my old spot in the Owensboro Youth Symphonic Orchestra so I get my spot back! I’m a forth year returning player. :)
It’s kind of weird though, we’re rehearsing at OHS this year instead of Bellevue.. I never thought that I’d be back in the OHS band room.. especially not playing on my old tuba. It’s been three years since I actually belonged in that band room.. I’ll write about how that feels tomorrow
Tonight was fun.. went to the Royce with John and Eric.. after my FBLA Officer meeting and drama practice I decided just to go out and unwind a little. Now I’m at home.. probably going to read for a bit and sleep
