he new semester started off with a bang. Christmas vacation was a blast but I was ready to get back to school. Blue House Players are putting on two one-acts at the end of this month. I’m kind of in charge for building the sets.. fun huh?

For FBLA I’ve almost got my parlimentary proceedure team script figured out, I’ve got the motions, terminology etc down but It’s going to take some help from Mr. Gray to get it worded properly. It’s hard to believe Regionals is right around the corner.. March 3rd.. Wow. It seems like yesterday when I was inducted as Vice-President and with my fellow officers at Camp. I am a bit worried though, It’s January 7th and the majority of our members haven’t even picked up a book or practice test in their event! Only half the officers have even begun theirs.. Blah

I’m slightly worried about that code I’m re-writing for online registration. It’s been altered by so many different people that it doesn’t conform with acceptable design standards. I figure if I just get something up now I can recode it next year after I’ve learned a bit more, right?

I’m staying after every day til 5:30 and I’m loving every minute of it =P Tomorrow we (FPS) are doinga 2 hour booklet.. Districts on the 22nd I believe. I’ve made it to state every year since 7th grade. I want to keep it up!!!

Guitar lessons are about ready to begin… I think that’s what I’m psyched up about most of all. Sure various organizations are a nice way to pass the time and I really care about what I do.. but since I quit band I’ve missed the thrill that making music can give me. It’s going to be die-hard instruction in not just the playing of my instrument but Music Theory as well.. and I can def use it.

With Eric going into the Navy this April it doesn’t give me the chance to jam with him at all. Hopefully by the time that he is on leave and comes back I’ll be proficent enough to play along with him.
