I can safely say today was awesome.. The first half was spent doing some semi-fun tech jobs. Motherboard replacements and custom builds.. hey it beats OS reinstalls.

Anyway, lunch was spent going to OCC taking care of some BS and I get a call asking me to go on an on-site today for a network problem (resetting a router password) I’m thinking some cheap Linksys router where I reset to default settings and leave.. I didn’t count on a VoIP and VPN setup that spanned into different states.

It took me four hours to get everything sorted (about.. half that wasn’t my fault) but I was pumped. I LOVE networking. Just the idea you’re setting up something that can allow for access anywhere in the world is a fun feeling.

Of course, Fulton calls me right after I leave and asks me to come over and if i minded getting cable setup for him

and then Andy calls right afterwards playing the Computers Plus ad on the radio! Ahh, there’s no escaping it. But, I say this with a grin on my face.

Although, I do need to get a new set of glasses. Starting to get some serious eye strain
